Signs of Cockroaches:
Do I have cockroaches or an infestation? Cockroaches are nocturnal
insects. They prefer to live and feed in the dark, so a cockroach seen during the day is a possible sign of
infestation, and if seen during the day is a sure sign that there are many of them and
they have run out of food.
Cockroach feces will be visible during an infestation.
Small roaches produce feces that resemble coffee grounds or black pepper, while larger roaches expel
cylindrical droppings.
The quantity of visible feces is oftentimes a good indicator of the level or duration of infestation.
If you believe that you have identified a cockroach infestation within your home, contact your local pest control
professional to discuss inspection and extermination options.
Signs of a Cockroach Infestation:
Cocroach infestations are often left untreated. The constant appearance
of only a few cockroaches are frequently tolerated and dealt with by
spraying with an aerosol insecticide spray. This is foolish, as the
numbers build up with time and a full blown infestation becomes
intolerable. Even the most diligent homeowner may be fighting a loosing
battle if the dwelling is geographically situated next to a rubbish tip,
a restaurant or food establishment, a vacant property, or rubbish
bins. Outdoor decking is popular but can also be a breeding ground for large
numbers of roaches.
Large Infestations of Cockroaches:
The first thing that must be done with large infestations is to clear the surrounding area of cockroaches.
This is not a difficult task and can easily be accomplished with our Cockroach Mass Extinction Box.
Once the immediate surrounding area has been treated then the problem of getting rid of them from the house can begin.
